Trucks and cars are a great place to start you RC experience. Most people will start out with dirt cheap equipment and when a break occurs realize that there are no repair parts available and have to scrap the car or truck. My advice is to spend a little more money initially and have something that will hold up better to the punishment. You should also consider an extra battery and fast charger. Stick with the electric models until you feel your budget can handle the more exspensive nitro (gas) models.
