RC Planes

Flying model airplanes is the most fun of any RC hobby because you are challenging the confines of gravity. Flying also requires much more practice as to become efficiant with eye to hand coordnations. And this is why I highly recommend a flight simulator when entering the world of RC flight. The price of a SIM. is dirt cheap compaired to cost of just one hard crash with your airplane. I would highly recommend the RealFlight SIM. by Great Planes. You can check it out HERE and some of the reveiws too.

If you want to get get straight into flying then I would recommend electric models as they have come a long way in the last ten years and are very slow flying, inexspensive, and fairly durable. They are small enough to fly out of your back yard and offer you the flying experience without having the exspence of joining a club or AMA for insurance.
I would like to recommend as a first choice for a trainer the Ember 2 by Park Zone. This is a remarkable little plane and is very easy to fly yet has the capability to do novice aerobatic manuvers too. It is small enough to fly indoors and ideal for children and adults alike. Check it out Here and read the Reveiws.

If you prefer your first plan to be more scale like than I would recommend the Champ RTF (ready to fly) by HobbyZone. This little plane is very slow flying and very forgiving for the beginner and having to deal with HobbyZone for any reason is a snap. This plane is also recommended for indoor flight or calm days and suitable for small children and adults alike. Keep in mind that an additional battery and fast charger will keep you flying much longer. Check it out Here and read the Reveiws.

If you would like something a lttle bigger to handle the wind better than look into the Easy Star Electric plane by Multisporm Model Plex USA. This plane is very easy to fly for children and adults and very durable in case of hard landings. Powered by a powerful Speed 400 motor mounted on the top so a hard landing won't break the prop or hurt the motor. The Easy Star flies with little input and has the ability to recover easily. Check it out Here and read the Reveiws.

If you would like to get into Nitro as a trainer than I would suggest the Alpha Trainer series, this is an excelent trainer and comes in two versions.
Allmost Ready To Fly and a Ready To Fly version.
Alpha 40 ARF Trainer $119.99
